The Capital Bears would like to invite our brother bears from surrounding communities and States to join us for a weekend in Des Moines! This will be the 4th year for our event and our biggest yet! Our host hotel has the largest hotel pool in Des Moines. Since we've moved the event from April to May, you may join us on a visit to our incredible Farmers Market.

Also, please take to heart that our organisation is inclusive - as we say "Bear is a State of Mind." You don't need to meet traditional bear body parameters to hang with us.

We'll have some bar outings, a coffee get-together, and much more. If you opt for an event pass you'll get exclusive access to two private parties - a daytime Beachwear and Jockstrap Dance Party plus a Late Night Pool Party.
