In 2004, a small group of Montrealers dreamed of sharing their French-Canadian culture with the International Bear Community. Fourteen years later and with hundreds of participants each year, SugarBear Weekend has become the largest bear event in Canada. It’s time to take care of that sweet-tooth you have for big furry lumberjacks!
SugarBear Weekend 14 will take place in Montreal in 2017 from March 22 to March 25. Three full days of activities, with a new program this year, featuring a sauna party, some lumberjack games (throwing axes on target and logging contest), the prestigious Mr. Bear Montreal contest and of course a brunch in an authentic sugar shack, transport included.
