The bears of Georgia head for the biggest Summer bash in the state in August for a weekend of fun, parties and meet-ups! Chill by the pool, enjoy a theme party, cool down with an adult snow cone or enjoy the bears picnic! The choices are endless. Enjoy a weekend of fun not to be missed.

The Festival

Next Edition: Thursday 6th August, 2026 – Sunday 9th August, 2026

-Augusta Bear Fest offers plenty in the way of things to do including Friday and Saturday Gala Bear Dinners and cocktail parties in the early evening.

-Later on, enjoy a movie night and the legendary Augusta Bear cruising parties where you can meet hot bears, cubs, otters and chasers.

-Daytime events revolve around two “anything-goes” pool parties.

-The event takes place at the Metropolis Complex, home to some of the states busiest gay cruising clubs.

-Enjoy night time events each night from 9 pm at The Edge Nightclub and 11 pm at the Pig Pen at Parliament Resort.

-The Metropolis Entertainment complex, is home to the Edge Club, Capri Lounge and Pig Pen fetish area and hosts special parties for all holiday weekends. The bear fest is one of the most popular.

-The venue is 8 minutes from downtown Augusta and features a spacious outdoor pool and multiple cruising zones.
